Setting for trailer
Before I started filming the trailer or getting ideas for different shots that could feature in the film I needed to look at some locations where I could possibly do some filming. As a lot of the scenes will be set in london or inside a large building I went up to my fathers work in london and took some pictures that would give me ideas for possible scenes that could occur in the trailer.
This area is a staircase which i found inside the building this are caught my eye because it is a well lit area with an element of danger with the high stairs. This area also looks good because of the metal pipes and banisters which give the area a good effect. Large metal pipes feature in a lot of action films such as james bond and make the staircase look more interesting and not like a normal staircase.
This long corridor has looks good due to the goos effect from the large circular lights which give the area good lighting. This corridor also looks good due to the legth of the corridor which gives the impression that the action is taking place in a large building. Seeing this area made me imagine a scene with someone from the film running down the corridor.
This photograph has been taken from the top of some stairs next to the large tunnel which runs through the building. This area is a well lit area with a slight view to the left of the staircase which makes the staircase look more interesting than a normal staircase with just a plain view. Their are also spikes to the left of the staircase which means that whatever scene occurs their will have the element of danger. A scene that could happen here could be a fight scene.
This balcony has not great lighting but with it being high and having a view in the background makes it look interesting and made me think of a scence with the main character threatening to throw someone over the balcony. This could involve the main character holding someone agains the metal railing by the neck or jacket pushing their head over the railings.
These plastic shutters made me imagine someone falling or being pushed through the plastic shutters. This would look especialy look good because the plastic shutters would move as you fell through would move in a syncronised motion. This would look especially good in slow motion. In this image their are bins in the background and it is quite a hidden area where i could image a killing occuring.
This is a nice wide open area with good lighting dus to the wide open space and the fact that i is a large tunnel which runs through the building. This area has an interesting view in the background and made me think of a shot that involve someone walking down the or a car driving down the middle of the tunnel.
This is an office at my dads work and could be used to film and interview between two of the characters possibly between the agent and the agents boss. It has an interesting pattern in the background and old fashioned chairs and tables which look good. Their is also a larger more official chair that the boss could st at. Interviews in trailers can help tell a bit of the story and explain what is going on.
