Opening Scene Videos

The following points are our first perceptions of the opening scenes and helps us with our brainstorming.

RocknRolla


We liked the way there was a narrator who was also in the story. Also the mysteriousness of the characters got you questioning who they were.

Snatch


We think that the introduction of characters whilst taking part in the crime and then switching to freeze frame but with a voice over of each seperate character gives a good effect.
We are going to use this kind of style in our own film and but have more elements of comedy in it.

Layer Cake


We like the effects at the beginning such as smoke and slow motion to create an atmosphere. However we would rather stay in a couple of different scenes rather than changing from one to another

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels


This opening it stayed at one scene for most of its length and we like the slow motion effect but only if we have the time to fit it in.
